The State Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, H.E. Mr. Abdulkadir Ahmed-Kheir Abdi, received on Wednesday at his office in the ministry a copy of the credentials of the Ambassador of the Republic of Burundi to the Federal Republic of Somalia HE Mr. Remy Barampama.
During the reception of the new ambassador, HE Mr. Abdulkadir Ahmed-Kheir praised the historical relations between the two peoples and the two countries, stressing the strengthening of cooperation in various fields.
For his part, Ambassador Remy Barampama affirmed his country’s support for Somalia as a troop contributor to the African Union Mission in Somalia (AMISOM) and to promote and develop bilateral relations between the two countries.
