AMISOM and SNA Forces arrested Hundreds in Marka Town

Somalia National Army forces and AMISOM Troops conducted an operation against Al-shabab in Marka Town the Capital City of Lower shabelle Region Southern Somalia

This operation come after SNA forces lead by Abdullahi Ali Anood outgoing Deputy Chief Somalia Army seized The City from Al-shabab on yesterday.

The Ally Forces arrested hundreds of Residents for the suspect of Al-shabab members, while they were also conduct an operation at outskirt of the City.

Al-shabab seized third party of the City in August 2016, other parties of the City controlled by AMISOM Troops and clan Militias those were fighting recent Years.

‘The seizer of Marka Town is an important step towards it is peace’ said Hassan Omar Moalim mayor of the City.

He Urged Somalia Federal Government to deploy National Intelligence Agenc forces and Police Unities to return the life of the people as normal.
