Somalia Government Condemns latest Blast in Mogadishu

The Federal government of Somalia has condemned today’s bomb blast in Mogadishu, the capital of Somalia.

Somali Police Force spokesman Sadiq Aden (Duudishe) said the blast near Ex-control Afgoye was caused by a suicide bomber with an improvised explosive device.

The spokesman told the media in Mogadishu that the blast targeted a busy market place , but it killed two people, being the suicide bomber and a civilian woman.

The spokesman also said that about 30 civilians were injured in the incident. But other reports say six people were killed in the blast.

No group has yet claimed responsibility for the blast, which occurred near Ex-control Afgoye in Mogadishu.
