Over 30 Al-shabab elements dead on special operation in Jilib town, Military Commander

Somalia’s Special Forces alongside US Security advisers conducted ground and air offence in Jilib Town Middle Jubba Region Southern Somalia.

Gen. Ali Mohamed Mahamud (Bagmadow), SNA’s 43^rd Division commander said that among the dead elements are Foreigners and four Al-shabab top leaders.

He named the foreigners as Awais Abu Hamza from Syria, Hassal Al Qayadi aka Abu Yahya from Libya and others not to be named.

Allied forces targeted Militant training facility in Jilib Town, were Dozens of them occupying at the time of the attack.

Gen Bagmadow pointed that the base they raided was the training Facility of Al-shabab’s Suicide Bombers, Assassination teams , planning and preparing  attacks against AMISOM, SNA and other partners.
