The government of Ethiopia had reached agreements with key opposition parties.
Office of the Prime Minister yesterday announced the establishment a project office tasked to coordinate the disarmament, demobilization, and reintegration efforts of former fighters.
Tesfaye Yegezu was appointed head of the office by Prime Minister Dr Abiy Ahmed, according to Fitsum Arega, Chief of Staff at the Prime Minister’s Office.
The government of Ethiopia had reached agreements with key opposition parties, including Patriotic Ginbot 7, Oromo Liberation Movement (OLF), Ogaden National Liberation Front (ONLF), Amhara Democratic Force Movement, among others.
