President Deni holds a Consultative meeting on matters of the elections.

Puntland President said Abdullahi Deni held a meeting with a academics, politicians and elders and the civil society to discuss the country’s transition and the extension of the term of the federal government of Somalia.

After visiting Garoowe last week ,Deni said that the on going talks is a solution for the election to take place and to eliminate the desire of the term extension.

Deni had several misunderstandings with Mohamed Abdullahi Farmajo during the Afisiyooni talks and this led to a huge misunderstandings and the meeting ended without the two coming to a solution.

The Puntland presidency expressed hopes that their would be better outcomes in the ongoing meetings. this comes at a time when said Abdullahi Deni sat down with some parties who are interested in finding an appropriate transition to the country’s transition situation which is currently at an evaluative juncture following the failure to implement the elections in Somalia.
