Somalia: Security forces in Galkayo confiscate large quantities of alcohol and other illegal substances after tough operations

Security forces in Galkayo town have confiscated large quantities of alcohol and other illegal substances that were being smuggled in the town after tough planned operations

The security forces have presented several cartons of alcohol that were confiscated and were intended to smuggled and imported into the town and it’s outskirts

Alcohol is among most trafficked illicit substance posing both a public health and security concern and the security agencies are always vigilant over the importation of the illicit substance.

Police have increased their fight against smugglers of illegal businesses such as alcohol and previously arrested numerous persons in the town cautioning the residents of engaging such dangerous businesses.
