Somalia: Northern Region concludes lower house parliamentary elections.

The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission of the northern regions ( Somaliland) has today concluded the election of the members of the lower house of parliament.

The region becomes the first to beat the 25th February completion deadline date that is drawing closer.

The Prime Minister of the Federal Government of Somalia Mohamed Hussein Roble, who attended the closing ceremony of the election of members of both houses of parliament representing the Northern Regions, congratulated the new members of parliament who were recently elected.
