Registration of Presidential Candidates Continues for Second Day in the capital, Mogadishu.

The Joint Committee for the Presidential Election of Somalia, which has been selected by members of both houses of the Somali Parliament, continues the registration and collection of candidates for the presidency of Somalia in Mogadishu for the second day

Committee members working at the Upper House headquarters yesterday registered the first 10 candidates, who met the requirements.

The process of registering candidates has has entered the second day and the deadline for completing the registration, unless otherwise extended, is Tuesday, May 10, 2022.

The Somali presidential election is scheduled to take place on the 15th of this month at the Aficio Tent in Mogadishu to avoid further delays in the Somali election.
