Speaker of Parliament & Ahmed Madobe discusses Elwak MPs.

The President of the Jubbaland State of Somalia, Ahmed Mohamed Islam, has met in Mogadishu with the newly elected Speaker of the House of Representatives, Sheikh Adan Mohamed Nur (Adan Madobe).

The President congratulated the Speaker on his election and shared with him how the people of Jubbaland and the Somali community have enjoyed his election.

On the other hand, the President thanked the Speaker for the decision to allow the constituencies for the second Jubaland elections so that the people of Gedo region are not excluded from the general elections in the country.

The Jubbaland president who arrived in Mogadishu yesterday will continue to hold talks on the upcoming elections until the 15th of this month which is slated for Presidential elections.
