Tens of persons who staged free Palestinian protests to demonstrate their solidarity with the sufferings of Palestinians have been arrested in Nairobi.
The protests led by activists after the Muslim iddul fitr prayers have been staged in Nairobi’s South C.
Bonface Mwangi, a renowned activist was among those that led the protests.
” we still defied them (the police) and marched in solidarity with the people of Palestine ”, he said.
Haki Africa, a human rights organisation based in Kenya said they are following up to secure release of a number of individuals arrested by the Kenya police for participating in the protests
