Close confidant reports from the Middle Shabelle region indicate that there have been inter-clan clashes that happened last night the outskirts of Adale district in the region.
The inter-clan clashes reportedly took place in an area about 10 kilometers away from the coastal city, resulting in casualties including deaths and injuries.
At least 3 people were killed in the clashes, while 3 others were injured, according to close sources.
The fighting militias are regrouping and facing each other and it is reported that both sides are recieving reinforcement , which is worsening the tension in the area.
So far, there has been no official reports from the district administration or the army officers in the area about the incident.
Adale has been the subject of many renewed tribal clashes and the areas under that district have been affected by repeated communia
The renewed tribal clashes that broke out in the Adale area has also breached a recent peace agreement on the conflict in the Middle Shabelle, after the reconciliation of the former president of the country, Sharif Sheikh Ahmed and the senior leaders of the Hir Shabelle Regional Government.
The federal government and local authorities, have several times deployed troops with the aim to quell the violence and foster a peaceful resolution to the conflicts.
