Somalia: Speaker Madobe and his top delegation left to United Arab Emirates after official invitation

The Speaker of the 11th Parliament of the Federal government of Somalia Sheikh Adan Mohamed Nur Madobe and his top delegation traveled to the United Arab Emirates today.

Speaker Madobe and his delegation, which includes members of the Somali Federal Parliamentary Friendship Committee received an official invitation from the leaders of the United Arab Emirates.

The Speaker is expected to discuss with the leaders of the United Arab Emirates about strengthening the relationship between the two countries and the role the country can play in development opportunities among other top issues

The Speaker is also expected to discuss with the leaders issues of mutual interest, including the enhancement of bilateral relations between the two brotherly nations and security cooperation to bolster the government’s ongoing efforts in combating terrorism in Somalia as UAE has been a significant partner in Somalia’s development and security sectors.

The parliamentary friendship committee was formed to strengthen diplomatic ties and foster international cooperationand the committees will serve as bridges between the Somali Parliament and other parliament like the United Arab Emirates and are poised to play a pivotal role in enhancing mutual understanding and cooperation.

The Friendship Committee of the Parliament of the Federal Republic of Somalia is expected to with members of the Parliament of the United Arab Emirates to discuss the mutual interests of both parties.
