National Communications Authority has reached an agreement with Anthropic to allow access to Claude AI in Somalia.
The development was announced by the Director General of the National Communications Authority, who said discussions between the regulator and Anthropic had concluded successfully, paving the way for Somali users to access the artificial intelligence platform.
Claude is an AI assistant developed by Anthropic and is used for a range of tasks including answering academic and historical questions, generating articles, summarising long documents, and assisting with writing and analysis.
