SEIT Hir-Shabelle Announced Electoral Schedule for Two Seats set to take place on Thursday in Jowhar.

State Elections Implementation Team has announced the election committee that will select the delegates for seats HOP#106 and HOP#024 of the House of People whose elections are slated for in the capital Jowhar in the coming days

A new timetable has been issued by the SIET Hir-Shabelle Indirect Electoral Implementation Committee Hir-Shabelle has announced a timetable for the election of the two seats

The committee, which has nominated traditional elders and members of civil society for the selection of the two constituencies, has today set a deadline for the delegates to undergo brief training relating to the procedures of the election while the elections will take place on 14 April 2022.

According to a schedule issued by SIET Hir-Shabelle on April 6, 2022, the election of these two seats was to take place on April 9, 2022 but was canceled due to misunderstandings and dispute between the two factions.

As Mustaqbal confirmed to various sources, the Commission has been working for the past few days to resolve the dispute and finally reached an understanding, which enabled it to produce this Schedule, the Selection Elders & members of the Civil Society.
