Queen Deeqa dies after Complications reportedly linked to Cosmetic Injection

A young Somali woman identified as Queen Deeqa has died after reportedly suffering health complications linked to an injection she received as part of an advertisement for cosmetic products.

Several young people, both men and women, are reportedly experiencing health problems and facing challenges after promoting or using cosmetic treatments.

Deeqa’s death has raised concerns about the safety of such products and the lack of adequate oversight.

According to an interview Deeqa gave while experiencing the complications, she received an injection in her lips as part of a promotional advertisement. She said she was paid $100 for the promotion.

Deeqa reportedly said the injection was administered to her mouth without informing or consulting her family. After she became ill, she said she was unable to contact the people responsible for the treatment.

Her family said she later developed a neurological illness and received treatment for the condition. They also said she underwent medical tests to determine the effects of the injection she had received.

Other young people, including famous individuals on social media, are reportedly suffering from similar health problems, while some have recovered from complications they experienced.

Concerns have been raised over the absence of clear action by relevant authorities to prevent potential risks associated with cosmetic treatments.

In a video shared on social media, Deeqa’s father said the family had not been consulted about the treatment given to his daughter, which he believes ultimately contributed to her death.

Authorities have yet to publicly comment on the allegations or announce any measures concerning the safety of the cosmetic products and treatments involved.
