Hir-Shabelle State Electoral Commission has announced the election schedule for 7 seats in the second constituency in Beledweyne, the capital of Hiraan region.
A statement from the commission stated that on the 25th of this month, the candidates will be registered for 7 seats and the next day, the 26th of this month, elections will be held for the 7 seats.
The seats are:
1: Hop # 003 seat currently occupied by Mohamud Abdirahman Bene Bene
2. Hop # 006 seat currently occupied by Mohamud Abdullahi Ahmed
3. Hop # 022 seat which has been was occupied in the past few years by Osman Mohamed Abdi (Daalo)
4: Hop # 031seat currently occupied by State Minister for Justice Yusuf Hussein Ahmed (Gama’diid)
5: Hop # 032 seat now occupied by by Minister of Trade and Industry Khalif Abdi Omar.
6. Hop # 068 seat currently occupied by Fadumo Farah Ibrahim.
7. Hop # 252 which is now occupied by former Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Abdulaziz Salah Arman.
