Delegation from Defence ministry leave for kampala to enhance journey to rebuild Somalia’s army.

A delegation led by the Minister of Defense Abdiqadir Mohamed Noor accompanied by the Commander of the Armed Forces General Odawaa Yusuf Rage and the Director General of the Ministry of Defense Hassan Mohamed Gaaliye reached the city of Kampala, the capital of Uganda.

The delegation is going to have meetings with the leaders and commanders of the Ugandan government, while the plan is to meet with the Minister of Defense of Uganda and the commander of the country’s army during their stay in Kampala.

The delegation was welcomed at Intebbe International Airport by the head of the Ugandan Ministry of Defense and diplomats from the Somali Embassy in Uganda.

The government of Uganda is among those that support Somalia in the rebuilding of the armed forces in Somalia, as thousands of the armed forces have received training in Uganda.
