Danab Special Forces have reportedly carried out tough operations against AS in Lower Shabelle Region which falls under the South West State administration.
According to close confidant reports the forces reportedly reached areas located under the jurisdiction of Afgooye District.
According to information provided to Mustaqbal by multiple sources, the Federal Government of Somalia, which has increased its operations against AS fighters in recent days in Lower Shabelle, has moved into several locations.
The Federal Government said it has intensified operations against AS in areas under South West, HirShabeelle, and Galmudug in order to prevent attacks attributed to AS and ensure stability as described in its statements.
The forces promised to continue relentless efforts to clear AS from affected areas and further strengthen security across the region.
