An armed gunman has shot dead the commander of the western station of the Puntland forces in Garowe Ahmed Ali Shire.
The killing of the Commander, took place early Sunday morning.
There are also reports that the man who killed the Commander was a drug addict, as confirmed by the police in Garowe district.
The police confirmed that they immediately arrested the man who killed Commander Ahmed Ali Shire.
police officers also said that the person who committed the murder is being investigated and will be brought before the law.
