Reports are emerging from the casualties caused by today’s clashes between the government military forces in parts of Wadajir district in Banadir region, which resulted in deaths and injuries.
The short-lived gunfire could be heard in several neighborhoods in Wadajir district, causing fear among residents.
It has been confirmed that at least 2 soldiers were killed and 2 others were wounded in the clashes.
Reports say the dead and wounded soldiers are relatives, especially cousins
According to media reports the fighting erupted after a dispute broke out over a house built by one of the fighters in Wadajir district in Banadir region.
Government security officials are however yet to release details of the exact cause of the dispute that resulted in death and injuries.
