The Electoral Commission Welcomes the final outcome of the Consultative Council Meeting.

The Federal Electoral Implementation Committee welcomes the outcome of the Mogadishu Consultative Forum meeting saying the outcome was positive and it come a time it was needed most .

A statement issued by the Electoral Commission called on electoral stakeholders and the Somali people to work together to ensure that the elections are held on time since it’s crucial.

“This agreement comes at a crucial time and there is a great need to accelerate, streamline and refine the transparency of the country’s elections,” the statement from the Electoral Commission said.

In a written statement the Electoral commission welcomes the outcome and requested the general public to work in harmony to streamline the electoral process.
