Somalia’s security forces in Puntland state foils explosion plot in Bosaso. The security agencies said that it foiled an attack and bombings that were aimed to harm the people of Bosaso and their properties.
An explosive device, intended to target workers of Bulsho construction company and civilians, was defused before detonation. “The hunt for the terrorists is ongoing”, according to a security official.
The security agencies said that the agency foiled the explosions minutes before the group had organized the explosions.
As displayed in pictures, there are several mines that are hidden in the ground. The security agencies did not say where the blasts were targeted.
These failed targets coincides while the business centers of Bosaso were targeted in recent times, and several companies were burnt down within a year.
A few days ago, there was an explosion at the Golis telecommunications company in Bosaso. The security agencies said that these actions are aimed to extort money from the commercial companies.
