The State Indirect Election Implementation Committee (SEIT Puntland) has announced the candidates for the 16 constituencies in Bossaso, the capital of Bari region.
The list is missing from the list of MPs and individuals who have complained about the administration of the committee who spoke to the media in recent days in Bossaso, the second constituency of Puntland.
Following is the list of MPs who have been elected and the candidates who have been registered.
HOP # 273: Abdi Mohamud Mohamed (Afdhub) occupied in the 10th Parliament but is registered for Bashir Abdi Mohamed Mohamud & Sahra Mohamed Mohamud Ali.
HOP # 157: Mohamed Abdullahi Farah occupied, but is registered for Mohamud Ahmed Aden & Idle Ali Ahmed, according to the SEIT Puntland Committee.
HOP # 228: Mohamud Ahmed Isse Maas occupied in this seat but is registered for Abdullahi Farah Mire & Hamdi Abdullahi Mohamed.
HOP # 234: Deeqa Said Hassan represents her community in the 10th Parliament, but will be contested by Marwa Abdibashir Haji Ali & Amina Abdiweli Mohamed, this seat is guaranteed to go directly to the women’s quota.
HOP # 076: Muse Ahmed Ismail occupied the seat in the 10th Parliament of Somalia, had the opportunity to run again and was registered with Faduma Ibrahim Ismail.
HOP # 227: Abdiaziz Mohamed Mohamud (Qambi), the Member of Parliament for this seat, is on the list of candidates, contesting against Muna Ali Mire Artan.
HOP # 158: Elmi Omar Elmi (Caysane), a Member of Parliament for this seat, has been removed from the list, with Saddam Mohamud Abdi and Muna Mohamud Dalmar contesting for the seat.
HOP # 083: Abdullahi Bile Nur was sitting in the 10th Parliament but will be contested by Mohamed Bashir Ali & Amina Mohamed Isse.
HOP # 169: Jamaal Mohamed Hassan occupied the seat , his name was not released and not registered as a candidate but will be contested by Ali Mahdi Mohamed Ali & Hafsa Ali Ahmed
HOP # 036: Zakariye Mohamud Haji Abdi was sitting in this seat, but he was not one of the candidates and Mohamed Aden Diini & Faisa Jama Muse Ismail were in the were registered to contest
HOP # 149: Ahmed Ismail Mohamed occupied the seat , with Faisal Ahmed Mohamud and Faisa Abdihakim Mohamed contesting for the seat.
HOP # 222: Omar Ismail Waberi represented Puntland in the 10th Parliament , Aynanshe Yusuf Hussein and Rhodo Yasin Yusuf Said are vying for the seat.
HOP # 027: Saeed Hussein Eid sits in the 10th Parliament but is excluded and is contested by Saeed Ali Muse & Abdulkadir Jama Abdi.
HOP # 220: Abdirashid Mohamud Hassan Abdi represents his clan in the 10th Parliament, with Ali Haji Dahir Saleban & Ahmed Burhan Omar vying for the seat.
HOP # 190: Abdinasir Said Muse currently occupied in this seat, this seat is contested by Mohamed Abdulkadir Mohamed & Fathi Ali Salah Mohamud.
HOP # 142: Mohamud Hair Ibrahim represents Bossaso in the 10th House of the People, Ismail Shire Jama Ali and Said Mohamud Mohamed.
Lawmakers who missed out on the list of candidates running for the 16 constituencies in Bossaso have accused SEIT Puntland and President Deni of being illegally excluded from the race.
