Somalia: Police Commander killed in tribal clashes in mission of Clan dialogue in Middle Shabele Region

The Commander of the 3rd Association of Somali Police Darawish in the Middle Shabelle Region, Abdul Qadir Mohamed Hashi, famously known as Juqlawe, was killed in a tribal clashes that took place this morning in Haji Ali Area, Adale District.

Juqlawe and the troops he led went to intervene and were working on peaceful dialogue between tribal militias in Adale area but has died in the process of reconciliation according to various close and confidant sources.

The 2nd Deputy Commander of the Somali Police Force, Gen. Zakiya Hussein said in her official post on her Facebook page that Abdulqadir Mohamed Hashi Juqlawe was an important person who lost his dear life in the process of making dialogue between two tribal militias.

“May God have mercy on him Abdulqadir Mohamed Hashi Juqlawe who was the Commander of the Dervish Police forces of Lower Shabele has martyred this morning while he was on a mission of bringing peaceful dialogue and reconciliation between two warring communities. The deceased may God have mercy on him was one of the Darwish police officers who were in the middle Shabele areas for the past few weeks and succeeded in putting an end to the tribal conflicts” Gen Zaki Hussein.

“May God have mercy on Juqlawe he matryed as he loved his country and people, may God love him . He served his country ,people and sacrificed his life” concluded the Deputy Commander of the Somali Police Gen. Zakiya Hussein.

The Somali police have recently sent police forces to the Middle Shabelle region of the Hir-Shabelle region to intervene and bring dialogue between tribal militias who have fought several times and disarmed them.
