President Mohamud took to social media to convey his message, expressing optimism about the future of bilateral relations between Somalia and the United Kingdom. He highlighted the importance of the UK as a valuable ally and friend to Somalia and emphasized his government’s commitment to further strengthening these ties.

“The United Kingdom remains a valuable ally and friend of Somalia. The Somali government looks forward to further strengthening the strong bilateral relations between Somalia and Britain and exploring new avenues for cooperation to advance the two countries’ shared interests,” President Mohamud stated.
