The Commander of the Somali Police Force convened a high-level security meeting on Friday to deliberate on new strategies aimed at countering Al-Shabaab and strengthening national stability.
The meeting, which brought together senior police officials and regional commanders, emphasized the urgent implementation of revised operational plans tailored to address emerging threats.
According to police leadership, the new measures will focus on community-based policing, intelligence-sharing, and swift response mechanisms to improve public safety and restore trust in law enforcement institutions.
