Somali Chief of National Armed Forces Visits Beledweyne to Assess Troops Welfare and Combat Readiness

In a move to bolster the morale and effectiveness of the national armed forces, Major General Odawa Yusuf, Chief of the Somali National Armed Forces, conducted a visit to army bases in Beledweyne.

Odowaa indicated that the visit was aimed to evaluate the well-being of the troops and assess their combat readiness.

During his visit, Major General Yusuf engaged with soldiers, reviewed their living conditions, and inspected the operational capabilities of the forces stationed in the region.

He emphasized the importance of maintaining high morale and readiness to address ongoing security challenges in the country.

The leaders indicated that the visit underscores the Somali National Armed Forces’ commitment to ensuring that their personnel are well-supported and prepared to defend the nation.

Major General Yusuf’s hands-on approach they said reflects a dedication to strengthening the military’s capacity and addressing any challenges faced by the troops on the ground.
