Security is key to securing political agreements, Somalia security Minister says

Somali Minister of Security Hassan Hundubey Jim’ale  Hundubey Jim’ale,  has put security as key  to secure a political agreement, calling it as a condition  to improve co-operation.

“Security is the basics of politics and if a consensus can be achieved on the same, then it will be easier to build confidence and common understanding and it will take care of concerns that could arise out of it . We have no much concerns today  and we are only waiting to be reach a concensus on  the Conference and complete the pending process, Security forces are ready to protect the polling stations, ”said  Security Minister Hassan Hundubey Jim’ale .

The Somali Minister of Security has requested every player to work with the security forces and facilitate their duties so that the country’s elections can be held in a stable manner away from violence and chaos.

Somali Prime Minister Mohamed Hussein Rooble took over responsibility for security and elections on May 1, 2021 after President Farmaajo’s failed  two year term extension following the end of his constitutional mandate.
