Qardho elects a new Mayor after tough competition.

Abdikadir Said Qaal has been elected as the new mayor of Gardo and the chairman of the local council is an election that recently happened.

Abdikadir has won the new mayoral election after he beat his rival competitor Kaah Mohamed Farah Abdi Burale by 7 votes in a very tough competition.

The new Mayor of Qardho received 20 votes from the council members, while the other incumbent received 13 votes making Abdikadir the new Mayor in the town.

The total number of councilors is 33, and the number of votes cast for the new Qardho Mayor is a combination of the number of councilors received by Mideeye and Sincad.
