President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud: This is not the first time that Adale has been reconciled. There must be a final decision”.

Somalia’s President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud who spoke about the obstacles to the implementation of the reconciliation of the warring communities in Adale District in the Middle Shabelle Region, Hir-Shabelle said that the government needs a final decision to support implementation.

He said that anyone who kills another person will face the same pointing out to the people who put up roadblocks that the President of the Federal Republic of Somalia will be dealing with them firmly to prevent the escalation of the problem.

President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud said that he saw the traditional elders from the waring tribes in Adale and all the people who stood up to find a solution to the clan-based wars.

“The conflict happened, our sons died, they would have died in their own time, but the conflict has been stopped. I saw the people, they saw isolation, I saw the brothers and sisters who were in conflict, and the elders who came out, but First of all, reconciliation that is done in Adale, must be a final decision the government will back it. And anyone who kills someone is a killer, the Armed Forces Court will deal deal with it until justice is done” President Hassan Sheikh Mahmoud said.

President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud said that the tax collection in the Constitution which gives the power to the Federal Government has not yet been completed but the Regional Governments have given up for a short period of time until they agree on the country’s financial system.

President Hassan said that it is an exception to put roadblocks for vehicles, pointing out that there is a place to check the security but no excuse to collect money from the vehicles.

“The constitution has not yet been completed and one of the ways of tax collection, the federal government has given up the tax for a short period of time and delegated it to the regional governments to collect it, except that the district collects tax.

“we are in a serious security situation, security roadblocks can be placed where necessary but there is no reason to to charge only ” said the President .

Adale District in the Middle Shabelle Region, a reconciliation meeting was held to bring together the communities that have fought several times in areas under the District to reach a final solution to the conflict between the brotherly clans.
