Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) hold meeting on Sunday to dicuss Palestine situation according to Foreign Minister Prince Faysal Bin Fareham who hosts the meeting.
A statement from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia published by the SPA News Agency, said the meeting was held in a virtual platform and was accepted by OIC Foreign Ministers
Islamic states differ in the way they deal with the situation in Palestine as some countries have an agreement with Israel, which has led to frustration in reaching a consensus decision on how to approach the situation
“Sunday meeting of Foreign Ministers OIC was born after consultations made with Palestine and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia so that we don’t look away from the dire situation”, said Turkish Foreign Minister.
Member States of the Organizations of Islamic Cooperation made of 57 countries are all participating in the emergency meeting to discuss Palestinian situation, a statement is set to be issued hours of conclusion of the meeting.
