Security forces from Somalia’s National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) have conducted operations aimed at strengthening security in Ceelasha Biyaha, located in the Lower Shabelle region under the administration of the South West State.
According to sources from the area who spoke to Mustaqbal Media, senior NISA officials in the Lower Shabelle region supervised the operation, during which security personnel inspected vehicles, checked individuals, and monitored locations deemed suspicious.
Deputy Director of NISA visited Ceelasha Biyaha to assess the progress of the security operation. He commended the security forces for their efforts and urged them to intensify their operations to ensure safety and prevent activities that threaten stability.
Recently, Ceelasha Biyaha hosted a meeting between the Governor of Lower Shabelle and a delegation from Mogadishu, led by the Deputy Governor of Banadir for Security and Politics. The discussions focused on strengthening security in the region.
