Security forces from the Jubaland State’s National Security Agency have conducted investigative operations in the lowland areas of Raaskambooni, located in the Badhaadhe district of the Lower Jubba region.
The operation was specifically carried out by a unit known as Hanqadh, which visited several villages under Raaskambooni. During their mission, they reportedly discovered medicines and other items allegedly left behind by Al-Shabaab (AS).
According to the leadership of the Jubaland National Security Forces, the primary objective of this operation was to prevent planned attacks by Al-Shabaab targeting their bases and other locations within Raaskambooni.
In recent days, both the Darawish forces and the National Security forces of Jubaland have been actively conducting tough operations across various regions in the Lower Jubba and Gedo areas.
The leaders indicated that the proactive measures highlight Jubaland’s commitment to enhancing security and countering the threats posed by Al-Shabaab, aiming to ensure the safety of its citizens.
