Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has expressed his sincere condolences to Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan following the death of her husband, Hafidh Ameir Hassan.
In a message of sympathy, President Hassan Sheikh extended his deepest condolences to President Samia and her family during this difficult period of mourning.
“I extend my deepest condolences to Her Excellency Dr Suluhu Samia,President of the United Republic of Tanzania, on the passing of her husband, Hafidh Ameir Hassan. Somalia stands with her family and the people of Tanzania in this time of grief. May Allah grant him Jannatul Firdaws”.He said
The news of Hassan’s passing was shared by Tanzania’s Deputy President Deogratius Ndejembi.
He died on Monday 8.00 am while reportedly receiving treatment at Emilio Mzena Memorial Hospital for a heart condition.
