Three Jews have been killed in an attack in the town of El’ad near Tel Aviv, the Israeli Ministry of Health has said in a statement.
Israeli police have described the attack as “planned” and said will respond on the same, but police have not released an official death toll about the attack
Hamas has claimed responsibility for the attack, saying it was in retaliation for the Israeli police crackdown on Palestinians at the Al-Aqa mosque in Jerusalem.
A statement from Hamas said that the attack had caused heavy casualties in Israel, with a Hamas official pointing out that the group had carried out several attacks in recent weeks.
