The Adale Ceasefire: Community reach full agreement to end clashes, breach of peace to be punished firmly.

The waring parties have has fully reached a ceasefire agreement in which Somalia’s President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud has witnessed and said that it has government backing breach of which will be dealt with by the country’s Armed forces Court.

The agreement stipulates that the person who kills another person should be punished and his crime should not be dealt with individualy as he alone will face the consequences of his actions and no revenge from the tribe in which he comes from .

A two-day peace talk held in Adale District in the Middle Shabelle Region, which was held by community traditional , politicians, women, businessmen, youths and various sections of the Mudulood community, came up with 11 points agenda that will see end of the clashes.

Meanwhile, The community said that it fully supports the call of the President of the Republic, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, to go to war with AS and expel them from the country, especially in the areas where the community lives.

To find a solution to the clan war, the person who kills another person should be face the law so that his crime is not punished by other ways that ignite full blown clashe.

The community of Mudulood has warned of the danger of “AS inciting the community against each other” to reduce the military burden placed on them by the Armed Forces and the local community and beware of conflict.
