A new chapter for public service in Galmudug begins as the foundation stone for the Ministry of Interior, Federal Affairs, and Local Governments headquarters is laid in Dhusamareb, Galgaduud Region.
The ceremony was officiated by the President of Galmudug State, Ahmed Abdi Kariye Qoorqoor, and the Federal Minister of Interior, Ali Hoosh.
Both leaders have emphasized the importance of prioritizing the construction of public service facilities to enhance governance and service delivery.
The event was attended by ministers from the Federal Government of Somalia and the Galmudug State Government, who lauded the initiative and expressed their commitment to supporting the development of essential infrastructure.
Once completed, the new headquarters is expected to serve as the operational base for the Ministry of Interior in Galmudug, reflecting the state government’s dedication to strengthening public administration and governance in the region.
