Somalia: Commander of Armed Forces called on the Federal Government forces to intensify and expand the operations against AS.

The commander of the army Gen. Odawaa Yusuf Rage who spoke to the Special Forces of Danab asked them to increase and intensify the ongoing operations against AS in the country.

Gen. Odawa said that when a soldier sacrifices his blood and life for his country, he realizes why he wears the uniform, and in general, soldiers are required to be committed to the war they are in and liberate their country from the enemies.

Commander of the Armed Forces, Gen. Odawa Yusuf said that the results of the operations in the regions of the country have been achieved, he suggested that the remaining regional governments should start the operations.

“Victory is near, it started from a long way, it has been a long road, and today it has reached a certain point. We want not delay the victory since we are nearing to the completion, since it’s waiting for us , since they are shedding the blood of the Somali people. since they have played with the dignity and honor of these people, since they are threat to the life and progress these people would have, the only way is to free our people, they are waiting no one else” Gen. Elder Yusuf Rage.

Minister of Defense of federal government of Somalia Abdulkadir Mohamed Noor Jama and Commander of the Armed Forces Gen. Odawaa Yusuf Raage organized a strong campaign against AS, they went to Hir-Shabelle, Galmudug and Jubbaland regional governments to organize and expand operations.
