The Minister of Energy, Minerals, and Water for Puntland Federal Member State, Liban Muse Boqor, has requested cooperation from the Federal Government, specifically seeking approval for essential projects. His appeal highlights the urgent needs faced by his ministry.
Liban emphasized that the Ministry of Energy, Minerals, and Water is currently facing significant challenges. He sent an open message to officials at both levels of government, urging them to closely work together to find solutions that can foster collaboration.
“I am unfortunately overwhelmed with the demands of my ministry, and the needs are substantial. We need to collaborate with the Federal Government to address the pressing issues we face here,” stated Liban Muse Boqor.
The relationship between the Federal Government and Puntland has not been smooth for some time, contributing to the difficulties faced by the regional government. Despite his call for collaboration, the Minister has yet to receive any response from the central government.
The misunderstandings between Puntland Federal Member State and Federal Government underscores the need for dialogue and support, as Puntland seeks to address its pressing needs through cooperative efforts with the Federal Government.
