Mogadishu Mayor inaugurates newly paved roads in Hodan district.

The Governor of the Banadir Region and Mayor of Mogadishu, Hassan Mohamed Hussein Muungaab, today officially inaugurated four newly paved roads in the Oktoobar ward of Hodan District.

Standing alongside Hodan District Commissioner Ali Fahle, Mayor Muungaab praised the district administration, local business community, residents, and all those who contributed to the road construction project.

The mayor reaffirmed the Banadir Regional Administration’s commitment to supporting the rehabilitation of both the city’s main thoroughfares and neighborhood streets, highlighting their role in improving the capital’s image and easing transportation.

Several key roads in Hodan have recently undergone upgrades, with fresh asphalt and interlocking blocks installed to enhance traffic flow for vehicles and pedestrians. However, officials noted that work is still needed on other streets, some of which have only reached the stone-laying stage.
