Land Forces Commander Inspects SNA Frontline Positions in Baidoa, reviews readiness and operations

Somalia Land Forces Commander, Gen. Sahal Abdullahi Omar conducted an inspection of SNA frontline positions in Baidoa.

The visit focused on assessing on-the-ground security conditions and ensuring units are prepared to meet current operational demands.

During the tour, Sahal reviewed troop readiness, examining personnel readiness, discipline, and the effectiveness of day-to-day field procedures. He also emphasized the importance of maintaining strong operational standards to protect communities and key areas around the front lines.

During his visit, Gen. Sahal Abdullahi Omar commended the troops’ cooperation and praised their vigilance in maintaining security on the ground.

He recognized their commitment to duties and readiness to respond decisively to emerging challenges, reinforcing confidence in the frontline units’ discipline and professionalism.

The commander further inspected recent operational activities, engaging with troops and unit leadership to understand progress, challenges, and lessons learned.
