Jubbaland FMS president Ahmed Madobe appoints his cabinet members two years after his elections.

Jubbaland regional President Ahmed Mohamed Islam has Selects new members of his Cabinet.

According to the new cabinet list, most of cabinet ministers in his previous FMS government have lost their positions while some retained ministers have been transferred to a different role.

The appointment of the Cabinet of the Jubaland administration took almost 2 years and it was one that was anxiously waited.

The appointment comes at a critical moment  when there is a stalemate among Somalia political leaders over the process to the coming election and a crucial conference  to discuss the elections is set to be held in Mogadishu today.

Ahmed Madoobe has appointed  Abdinaasir Seerar Maah as Minister of Education, one of the politicians who was strongly opposed to Ahmed Madobe’s re-election and announced that he is the president of the administration but they later reconciled to work together.

Seraar also worked with the president of Jubbaland previously and is a vocal politician in the region.
