The governor of Hiraan region, Ali Jeyte Osman, has announced new restrictions on vehicles that transport goods and people in the areas along the Shabelle River between the towns of Baledweyne and Buulaburte in Hiraan region.
Governor Ali Jeyte has ordered that from today no vehicle should be seen leaving from Baledweyne or Buulaburte carrying food or fuel to the areas along the Shabelle River between Baledweyne and Buulaburte.
Ali Jeyte the governor of Hiraan region said that if a vehicle is seen or caught while it is loaded and transporting to those areas, the vehicle and its contents will be confiscated and seized by the government forces and it will become part of the government’s property.
