Preparatory delegations for the Presidents of the Puntland and Jubaland regional governments, Said Abdullahi Deni and Ahmed Mohamed Islaam Madoobe, are expected to arrive in Mogadishu in the coming hours.
The delegations consist of ministers and security personnel accompanying Said Deni and Ahmed Madoobe, traveling from Garowe and Kismayo, respectively. They will be staying at designated locations in the capital.
Reports indicate that Ahmed Madobe and Said Deni are set to arrive in Mogadishu tomorrow, although detailed information about the nature of their trip has not been publicly disclosed. They have been invited to attend a conference scheduled to begin tomorrow.
Various meetings are taking place in Mogadishu involving the Federal Government leaders and opposition members, as a technical committee meets regularly to enhance the arrangements for the upcoming conference.
