Somaliland opposition leader Faysal Ali Waraabe has raised economic and health challenges as well as other issues that requires to be addressed after the elections.
Faysal said there was a problem with access to health service which funds are channeled to citing Mother’s delivery surgery costing around $ 650 as he put it.
Eng Faysal Ali Waraabe, leader of the opposition party UCID noted that the Somaliland Constitution requires a review in order for the people to have a fair right.
“We are reviewing public service such as Health, Water and Electricity. for example, for our women to get C-section delivery service, they have to part with $ 650, it is a very huge amount, very expensive. We pay too much for electricity services. To overcome this we have to establish a good parliament who are thinking about this”said Faysal Ali Waraabe.
He urged the youth preparing to vote that they stay away from tribalism aso as not to compromise the quality of the MPs or official to represent in the coming years.
