According to close confidant reports a civilian has been killed, and soldiers from the Federal Government of Somalia have been injured following an explosion in the Livestock Market neighborhood of Hiliwaa District, Banadir Region.
Security forces from the Federal Government immediately arrived at the scene to initiate an investigation into the blast, looking into how it occurred and searching for suspects believed to be responsible.
The road connecting the SOS Junction to the Livestock Market was briefly closed but was reopened shortly afterward. The injured soldiers were taken to medical facilities for further treatment.
