The Speaker of the House of the People of the Federal Republic of Somalia Sheikh Adan Mohamed Nur (Madobe) along with the First Deputy Speaker of the House of the People Sadiyo Yasin Haji Samatar met with the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Somalia Ahmed Bin Mohamed Almowallad.
“The Speaker of the House of the People Sheikh Aden Madobe welcomed the role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the development and continued support of our country.” Said a statement from the House of Representatives.
Aden Madobe will hold talks with international community leaders, including Ambassadors, and today met with the Chargé d’Affaires of the Norwegian Embassy in our country, Mr. Haakon Svane, and the Special Representative of the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Somalia, Ms. Heidi Elburgi Johansen.
His meetings with the Speaker of the House of the People of the Federal Parliament Sheikh Adan Mohamed Nur Madobe focused mainly on the Somali Presidential Election which is expected to take place on 15 May 2022
