The Criminal Court sentenced a Somali woman to four years in prison with hard labor after she was convicted of stabbing her brother to death with a knife, reports Al-Anba daily.<\/p>\n
A security source told the daily the trial of the accused comes after the Public Prosecutor\u2019s Office stated that on September 18, 2018, the woman \u2018hit\u2019 the victim with a knife and the latter was declared dead upon arrival at the hospital.<\/p>\n
The sister in her confession said she did not intend to kill her brother. The daily did not give more details.<\/p>\n
Bid to stab man: An elderly Kuwaiti man made a distress call to the Operations Room of the Interior Ministry when his son-in-law broke into his house in Sabah Al-Salem and attempted to stab him with a sharp cutter, reports Al-Anba daily.<\/p>\n
The man, who has refused to file a case against the man, said this happened when his daughter came to live in his house after a dispute with her husband and the latter got angry, broke into the house, tried to assault his wife and when the father intervened he tried to stab the old man.<\/p>\n
