Somalia\u2019s National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) says several Al-Shabaab members were killed or wounded in airstrikes carried out in the Fidow area of Middle Shabelle region, Hirshabelle State.<\/p>\n
In a statement, NISA said the strikes targeted a gathering of Al-Shabaab members at a location identified as a meeting point for the militants.<\/p>\n
The agency said the operation inflicted casualties on the targeted group, but did not provide an official figure for those killed.<\/p>\n
NISA added that the operation was conducted in cooperation with international partners supporting Somalia with air operations against Al-Shabaab.<\/p>\n
